- I recently got a C64 with some other equipment. When I first got
- it would show a bunch of characters on the screen. Then later I
- tried it again and the screen was blank and has remained that way
- since. Is this the VIC II chip or a ram problem? What is the
- correct ram chip for the commodore 64? I have an old grey
- breadbox c64. It would be nice to have a c64 for a backup just in
- case my old faithful c64 gives up on me. Does anyone know what
- the poke is to turn the screen off? I used to know this.
